Questions & answers
Is it really free?
Yes. Every check in every engine is free. The Supporter Pack is an optional donation; it gives you a signed supporter license as a thank-you, but it doesn't unlock anything extra.
Which Unreal versions work?
Unreal 5.0 to 5.5 are fully supported. 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8 are built in and expected to work, but still need a first test inside the editor. Unreal 4 is not supported.
Does it work on Unity 6.7 beta or alpha?
Probably yes — the tool only uses an editor window, a menu item and the import hook, which Unity rarely changes. Beta and alpha builds can still break things, so for important work use Unity 6.0 or 6.3 LTS.
Does it work on Godot 3?
No. Any Godot 4.x works. Godot 3 uses a different plugin system.
Will it work on future versions?
Small updates inside a major version usually work. A new major version (like Unreal 6) isn't guaranteed until it's tested and listed on the Versions page.
Do I need Python installed?
Not for the engine plugins — Unreal, Blender, Maya, Houdini and Substance bring their own Python, and Unity, Godot and Photoshop don't need it. Only the standalone script needs Python 3.8+.
Can I change the limits?
Yes. All limits (triangle budget, texture size, name prefixes, particle counts) live in one rules file you can edit to match your studio.
Is it for solo artists or studios?
Both. Solo artists pick "Just me"; studios get a team dashboard with roles, reviews and fix tickets.
Something doesn't work — what do I do?
Copy the error from your engine's log and contact us from the About page. Reports from new engine versions are especially welcome.
