Seller identification: the seller and operator of this service is Home. “Home” is the seller's legal business name (sole proprietor), not a placeholder. All contracts, purchases and data processing are with Home.
Who is responsible
Home is the data controller for personal data processed through TechArt Toolkit. We decide why and how your data is used.
What we collect and why
- Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create your account and provide the Service (contract).
- Team and project data (teams, roles, uploaded assets, validation reports, comments) — to run the dashboard (contract).
- Validator script data (computer name and operating-system user name) — to show who produced a report on fix tickets (legitimate interests). These names are supplied by the artist’s tool, not verified identities. Browser uploads identify the signed-in account and do not read the computer name. Reports and uploaded files are available to members of the same studio.
- Text sent to AI Diagnose — to generate fix suggestions; error patterns are kept anonymized to improve suggestions (legitimate interests).
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages visited) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the Service (legitimate interests).
- Purchase records (order id, pack bought) — to issue your optional supporter license (contract, legal obligation).
Who we share it with
- Service providers who host the site, database and AI features for us.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
How long we keep it
We keep account and project data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of closure. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymized.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. We respond within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and team-scoped permissions to protect your data.
Cookies
We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
